On a sunny Saturday, September 2nd, CJD International School hosted its annual "Meet and Greet" event. This friendly occasion provided an opportunity for families, both new and returning, to connect with teachers, educators, and staff, setting the stage for an engaging school year ahead.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech from our Head of School, Ms. Koeneke, followed by an icebreaker activity led by the dynamic duo of Mr. Lewis and Mr. McCaw.

Parents and families showcased their culinary skills by bringing and sharing an array of delicious dishes from their diverse cultural backgrounds. The buffet not only satisfied our taste buds but also underscored the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our school community.

As adults mingled and got to know each other over cups coffee and a delectable array of food, the children were not left out of the fun. A group of talented CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) students took charge of face painting, turning little faces into colorful canvases of creativity.

The involvement of CAS students didn't end with face painting; some were busy serving coffee, while others played vital roles in the setup and cleanup of the event. This level of engagement and contribution exemplifies our students' dedication to our school's ethos of teamwork and community support.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents, students, teachers, educators, and staff who made this day a resounding success
